I usually don't do this, I prefer to write stories. I don't write journals and such, maybe I just like the idea of altering my reality.

However, there is no way to comment to comments without rating your own post. So I felt it best to do it this way.

In my last story, i have had suggestions that I should continue the story of Diane. First off, thank everyone for your comments and ratings. My ever struggle and goal in life is to feel like a writer. Sometimes, I can be my biggest critic. The feedback keeps me thinking that I am going in the right direction.

On the note of continuing the story of Diane. Most everything I write are one shots. I am use to sticking with the flash fiction formula. Alot of my stories I've posted have been posted on instagram before I knew this app existed. Thankfully, this app exist. The way I was posting on instagram, with it's word limits and smooshing my paragraphs together, drove me a little crazy. I love this place. Perfect for posting my writings the way I want them and a magnificent community with the same type of passion.

I digress again. As I was saying. Most my stories are meant to be one time trip. You have the short journey, it makes you think, wonder, or ponder on what is really going on. What the story doesn't tell.

With that said, "Fish Market Boy" did become two stories. So it is very possible I could find a way to continue with Diane. The suggestion have let me toy with some ideas connecting some bigger projects that have been rattling around my brain for a long while. I just don't force these things. I let the ideas come to me. Feels more natural that way.

In the end, there is still hope. I am growing on the idea of exploring more with Diane. I just will have to wait till it all clicks into place and i figure a way to write it. Thank you everyone again for taking time to read my work. Hope I continue to entertain. I know I will keep writing either way.

  • Jonathsn, I understand your struggle to feel like a writer. I have that struggle too. And being critical of your craft? We are on the same boat. But here's the thing, you do have the talent. You just gotta keep believing in yourself. Keep doing what you're doing and keep doing you coz you are awesome!💜
