Irrelevant Echoes I I Read Count : 112

Irrelevant Echoes begin to mock,
the cold night's wind with their chant,
As a lonely sense from fear invades, darkness begins to revamp.

Left alone, cloaked in misery,
without direction or a clue,
Paying for the signs he once ignored,
of which she was most guilty of too.

A scorned smirk she left
and turned to never be once more,
Leaving him betrayed in such ways,
the most proven of Men never endure.

The Voice WILL NOT BE MOCKED,
for it will never be deceived,
Do Not Reap What You Can Not Sow, Nor Ever Take What You Won't Receive.

Surrendering to regret,
in the heart it begins its harvest,
Planting fertile seeds of guilt,
that vine the soul as its harness.

Cast from the tides of solitude,
into violent waves of sorrow,
He holds only to her memory,
sinking further to the depths of hollow.

The guilt it consumes,
with a pain so deep it bellows,
Hearing only the chants of those once, now forever...Irrelevant Echoes.

Alone she left him,
in a world she once created,
so cold and dire.
Never to return knowing,
in order to survive,
her frozen heart would need fire.

For the first time he gave in,
will be the last he will recall.
Knowing that to all he gave some, but to her...

HE GAVE ALL.
