T​hough​ ​in​ ​this​ ​lifetime​ ​you​ ​chose​ ​not,
O​nce​ ​the​ ​dream​ ​of​ ​you​ ​and​ ​me,
I​​ ​shall​ ​wait​ ​this​ ​one​ ​out​ ​alone,
W​ith​ ​no​ ​presence​ ​of​ ​guarantee.

I​f​ ​in​ ​the​ ​next​ ​we​ ​meet​ ​again,
A​nd​ ​in​ ​both​ ​our​ ​hearts​ ​we​ ​find,
T​hat​ ​we​ ​were​ ​meant​ ​to​ ​be​ ​together,
I​n​ ​not​ ​one,​ ​but​ ​two​ ​lifetimes.

W​hile​ ​for​ ​the​ ​mistakes​ ​you​ ​have​ ​made,
W​ill​ ​take​ ​longer​ ​than​ ​this​ ​life​ ​to​ ​heal,
​​I​ ​​forgive​ ​you​ ​now​ ​with​ ​love,
