I heard a faint ringing sound and arouse with a jolt today was a day I would never forget. I opened my window to feel to cold breeze of fall it felt so warm but cold at the same time. And the sky was so colorful purple, pink and orange mixed together. It was so beautifully arranged and went perfectly with the flowers blooming outside. A day I would never forget. I went to my closet to find the perfect outfit for the festival that evening there the king would give his speech. I was full of joy a beautifully painted scene and a handsome king to see. As these thoughts swarmed my mind I decided to text Mia my ever lating friend. She was excited to and I could tell she had sent me millions of texts the night before I decided not to text back. I picked a blue kimono its color was a deep blue like the sea or sky at night. As I put my kimono on my phone beeped I thought it was another text but then Mia called me "You idiot were late" she yelled. Late I had never been late for anything I was bound to be eventually but why out of everything did it have to be to the kings speech. I shouldn't have ignored Mia's texts this never would have happened. I quickly ran down stairs and opened my door I struggled with my keys to try to lock the door none of them would work. I was struggling until finally I got the right key I put it in the lock and turned it. After I did I ran as fast as I could I expected to get weird looks but no one was outside they were all at the speech. I continued to run until finally I met up with Mia at the gate "You are twenty-five minutes late" she yelled. We started walking then I bumped into something or at least I thought it was something but when I looked up it was someone. It was the king, my eyes widened followed with a million apologies. This day was getting ten times worse than it had already been. He grabbed my wrists and spoke in a soft voice "It's okay you're freaking out over nothing". We then held a long coversation throughout the time we talk he was still gripping my wrists softly. The more I thought about ot the more my face turned red. "I better get going" he said he spoke so softly compared to when he does his speeches. Chapter 2 After that day all I could think about was the king, his gental grip and soft voice. He was so nice to me, but why me specificly I did bump into him and I could tell he felt annoyed when I kept apologizing. The thought made we start to blush and sweat so I opened the window. It gave me goosebumps instantly just like the king had when he looked me in the eyes with his soft expression. All that filled my face at that very moment was my dull eyes and red face. I knew I had to tell him, but how.
