I lied. I lied when I didn't have to, because I was afraid they wouldn't like the truth. I lied when I had you, when I said I didn't care but I did; lying felt better than admitting the truth. I lied when I told everyone I never cared. I lied when I said I was okay. I lied when they asked about you, I didn't want to be wrong about you. I lied because I cared. Now I realized all we ever did was lie.
