The clothes dripped as they hung on the clothes line. Franny loved to sit outside as they dried, talking to her bff, Shelby. Shelby was the best friend Franny ever had, she was there no matter what! She loved to talk to Franny and they had so many adventures. "Why do clothes drip?" Said Franny "I don't know Fran." She replied. They got up and walked down to the front yard, and walked down the dirt road. Shelby started to chase Franny, which started a game of tag. They played all day, but when the sun started to go down Shelby went home. Franny walked to the shack and grabbed her blanket, then walked to the small house on the land. She went inside and grabbed her some dinner then went outside. She made her blanket into a sleeping bag type style, she stared at the stars and fell asleep. When she awoke she put away her blanket and headed over to the grave on the land. Read aloud she said "Franny Dano, 1945-1953" she wiped off the grave and went inside to her family. They could see her, they always could, they knew that she wouldn't leave them like she did the first time. As they got older she still stayed 8, and she still acted as if she was still alive. To her she was still alive, she was still their daughter, and she was loved by them. She talked and played and slept, she was their little daughter no matter what. 5 years later, she walked down the road and waited for Shelby, when she came they went over to her house that day. She took Franny over to clean her grave, there they read playfully "Shelby Ann, Franny Dano, Loved by all and we're hero's to most." Shelby turned to Franny and stared with a smile and continued to read it "Saved 6 kids from their doom off a cliff. In doing so they died, they will be missed and are loved." They always felt better reading Shelby's grave. They finished cleaning it and walked away.
