    The summer breeze lifts the hem of my dress as I stare out across the waves. My old home will soon be a distant memory. I touch the swell of my stomach and look out once more before I turn to the unfinnished wall in front of my husband's castle. (sigh) No more sorrow over this. I wave a final farewell to the sea and my father before I walk to my husband. We will never let our child face the dangers I faced as a little mermaid.
