Dear red white and blue,
In school we used to stand up and look at you.
With our hands on our hearts,
but now you are tearing everyone apart.

We all used to meet in the middle,
but now the left and the right are becoming so extreme.
Why you gotta make this place so mean?

Just because they look different, they are called a thief or a terrorist.
People falsely making them the alarmist.

You're sending so many people away. 
But people who were born here that do more wrong can stay?

Our nation isn't "under god".
Is our freedom of religion really that flawed?

Now people are gonna read this and say its not that bad.
Guess they've never seen someone leave behind everything they've ever had..
