We all want one. 
Our very own, 
True friend. 
Someone who cares for us, 
And wishes us the best. 
Encouraging and uplifting, 
When we feel down and powerless. 
They wouldn't belittle or bully us, 
When we aren't feeling our best. 
Their tone, 
Always positive and genuine. 
Pushing us, 
Not because we are weak, 
But because they know we are strong.
Cheering for us, 
Especially with our smallest accomplishments. 
Even when we were alone,
They'd always somehow be there.
Where.
Where would we find our very own,
True friend?
Gazing at your own reflection,
You must see.
Your very own, 
True friend.
Is me.
