Prying Eyes
From prying eyes I hide, 
Deep in shadow I abide.
For worries of this world weigh me down.
Where once was a smile,
now appears a frown.

Once I wore a dreamers heart,
Upon my worldly sleeve, 
Now broken and smeared 
for all to see. 

Hidden within deep shadow 
you will find, 
a pool of tears, 
That is mine. 

From prying eyes I hide 
deep in shadow I abide.... 

far from this world of pain 
I've been cast aside...
