Sound of Silence
Silence speaks volumes when one chooses to hear it's cry.
Tis burning this question of how and why?
Where noble deeds are written upon a man's creed.
Hearts burn evermore for the fallen friend who bleeds.

In this refuge where faithful refuse to see.
Dimming light so faint from heaven, one believes it ceases to be.
Under moon and stars where even angels fear to sleep.
Ever wary of the company the darkening night keeps.

Silence be golden when heard is the war cry,
Tis a cry of a thousand voices, in unison they cry.
Tis silence that has loudest of cries.
Heard by those whose souls weep as valiantly they cry.

Tis lady justice that be blind,
When hands have been tied.
By wretched wicked men,
Who fear truth be cast again.
