So we did it. We had our baby. He is the most beautiful baby. We are over the moon.
Well, because we are the type of people we are, after about 5 weeks we decided to go out.
Eddie's parents we excited to watch Jaycee for us while we went "on a date". After dropping him off eddie and I went to a little hole in the wall bar. We are having a great time. Letting loose. After a few beers, we reach the intoxicated level of expressing our undying love. Eddie doesn't miss a beat. He looks at me and says. "Let's get married tomorrow." I said "Alright." With that agreement, it was settled.
That's about the way all of our major decisions are made.
After announcing our new engagement to a bar full of people we don't know. We are gifted several rounds of beer.
We had to get out of there. We are very excited to tell his parents and my Grandma.
We burst in the house so Eddie can make our big announcement. His dad is happy and his mom is crying tears of joy.
This was Thursday night. Friday morning we head to the court clerks office to get our marriage license. Saturday and Sunday we shop for our wedding. Bas we are making the arrangements. Monday we get married.
Our colors are black and white . Im waring a cute informal dress and Eddie, being the cool guy he is, is in a nice black and white checkered shirt with black slacks. Luckily, we find the perfect outfit for our baby. He didn't wear t though. Of course the church is provided by Eddie's parents. The preacher that does our ceremony is my childhood pastor. As well as a close friend of Eddie and his family's.
She knew both of us as young children and was more than happy to unite our family as adults.
Remember, I did let it be known that native families are usually intertwined.
She was the bow on top of the sentimental gift we were given by the stars.
We were married Monday December 24, 2012.
Christmas Eve.
We will not be forgetting our anniversary. We fully intended to be married the day after the suggestion. But I'm happy with Christmas Eve as the special day. Though we rushed and it was only four days from Engagement to Marriage, our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Full of love and booze. We did have a couple of kinks. First of all Eddie's sister was not able to make it from Arizona. That really tugged at Eddie. I of course cried because my brother was late. He was the one to give me away.
Before I married, I didn't appreciate how beautiful a marriage ceremony is. The love, the intimacy and becoming my husband's wife is one of my greatest achievements. The love between us at that time iwas deep and passionate. Almost enough to make me cry today. Now, I understand why people cry at weddings
