For all that I languish over you, I’d have it no other way. For all that my heart gives you, you want none of it from me. For all that my heart bleeds over you, you’ll never want to know of its promise, only to you. My chest pains the bruising on the walls of my heart, all of it is in tribute to you, to your memory. You have not died, but you have left my life, my heart an utter shambles. It’s still preferable to not feeling at all.

My heart and body pine for you, missing you and needing you every day.

I am as a love zombie, a dagger of rejection in my heart, a dagger that oddly keeps me alive, well, undead. When I think of you, the dagger turns in my heart.
