Jesus passing through Jericho saw 
Zacchaes up in a Sycamore tree.
Zacchaes was small in stature and 
from the ground he couldn’t see.

When Jesus saw Zacchaes, he 
told him to come right down
For to Zacchaes, the sinner’s, 
house today, Jesus was bound.

Zacchaes promised half his goods
would go to those that were poor
And anything taken by him falsely
To be returned to those, times four.

Jesus proclaimed salvation had
come to this a son of Abraham.
Jesus had come to seek and to save
one such as this, a lost man
