On one fine Sunday at Matlock Run ,
there was a ghost roaming and studying his rocky tor house. "What a peaceful land I've built. A land I've built with 'my own hands'." It said. The ghost took his eyes off the place and found who had caught his attention. A man with a black and white bulldog in uniform were trampling on violets at the ghost's old garden. It rushed over to the man and his dog by the garden. The man had saw the ghost and his dog had reacted with a bark. "Who are you and what are you doing on this property." The man asked. "I should ask you the same question. For I'm the original owner of this house. I've built this with my own hands and I see you're playing death with my precious flowers I've planted with my own hands. Also my territory that took me four years to build." It said firmly. "I am terribly sorry, but I come here every Sunday to check this place." The man said reaching in his pocket for his tazer. He quickly aimed it at the ghost and tried to taze him, but the electricity just went right through it. "Who are you!?" The man asked terrified as he was trembling in fear. "Why I'm the ghost of a man who died here in 1788. I return every fifty years and this is my fiftieth anniversary of my death." It said to him. "You're...a GHOST?!" The man was in horror. "Yes I am and I command you to leave this instant!" It yelled. The dog kept barking and the frightened man hurriedly ran away along with his bulldog from the entire property. The ghost disappeared up into thin air. All day and night the man had never came back until the very next day at sundown. He came back with a paranormal investigators crew. " I'll first detect anything unusual around the place." Said one of the team members.
One hour later the team came back empty handed. No ghost was detected. "Excuse me, Mr. Renalds, but we haven't detected any paranormal activity or any other hotspots. Are you sure you've seen a ghost anywhere?" Asked the team leader. "Why yes I have with my very two own eyes. The tazer just went right through him. Are you accusing me of lying?" He asked. "No, no. We mean that the ghost must have been passing by or you may have been just hallucinating." The man had thought it was very hot that day. He was sweating his pants. "We'll be leaving now, Mr. Renalds." The team had went on departing towards their van. "Maybe they're right. It was just a illusion from that hot Sunday." The said turning toward the gates. "That's right. Leave my property." The ghost had said and disappeared into the darkening sky. There followed a shooting star zoomed to the depths of its destination. It was now gone. Although, Mr. Renalds did hear those last remarks from the ghost. He heeded the ghost's request and left its territory with no signs of returning. The ghost had never came back until a next fifty years.
Who will be its next encounter?
