*part 9 of "Reina Leona" story* His story.... The whole fiasco that had been going on in his life had finally reached a point where he had to take a step back to reflect. He wasn't having fun anymore. The Barbies, the garden gnomes and the superficials, the pretenders, users and freeloaders, they don't cut it anymore. He was bored. Bored of the game he's been playing since he was a teenager. He knew something was missing in his life. The emptiness inside him grows wider everyday. He knew there was no one to blame but himself. He brought it on to himself. He created the monster he had become. He knew that all along. He was no longer happy. In fact, he was never happy. It had all been an act, a show he puts on to entertain his friends, his fans, his groupies, his string of endless fresh meat, and of course, himself. But he's done. He's done with living that life. He wanted something more, something substantial and real. He knew the choice is in his hands. He knows what he wants but will he be able to make it? He's not sure. Truth is, he was afraid. He was afraid to fall. Afraid to be alone. Afraid of his own shadow. He wasn't a loathsome person. He could have been more loving; which he wasn't. He could have made better decisions; which he didn't. He drank too much. Partied too hard. He didn't consider the feelings of others as he leaves a trail of destruction in his wake. Because of that, some say he was a complete asshole. But they didn't know him like he did. He didn't mean to be careless and heartless with others. Truth is, he was fighting his own demons. He really wanted to be more than he was. He just hadn't been taught how. Still, not an excuse. Finally, the day came. Something had to be done. Pain that he caused cannot continue. He stood there and watched him go. He witnessed the death of who he was. He looked him right in the eyes. Then he walked away from the mirror. From the outside looking in, some would judge and hate when faced with things they don't understand or can't relate to. From the inside looking out, there could be a much deeper story waiting to be told to someone who would care enough to listen.

You set me up, then let me down. you got the fundamentals of a good story. A character on the verge of making a change, loaded with internal conflict, clearly ready to become larger than life. But this is not a complete story because he doesn't change or even move to change. With the endless immature writers on here you gave me hope with sentance structure. you get me excited with a well thought out character and put me at the edge of a metaphoric orgasm then let me down. please tell me your not going to keep doing this.

Thomas, thank you for taking your time to read and leave your comment. If you noticed, this is part 9 of my story. There are 8 parts prior to this installation. Did I write the entire story in one category? No. All the parts are scattered and written in various categories that are available in here. It is an experiment on my part. I am using the options of many categories to drive my story through. If you're interested to read the full story, the first part is titled "Reina Leona" - written under the category of Stories, subcategory: romance.
