Fake President is considering sending 5,000 more U.S. troops into the Afghanistan quagmire. Why? He himself had consistently said in the past that this would be a total waste of lives and resources. Why consider doing this now?

One can only assume it is his knee jerk, pathetic "look over there" strategy to take focus off his Russian collusion problems.

Here is an idea that would really be constructive: why not launch all out cyber warfare against Putin to sow discontent against him with the Russian people. Not with disinformation like they did to us. No. We should deluge them with the true facts of how Putin has turned Russia from a communist state into a Kleptocracy, only benefiting and enriching a select few, like Putin himself, who is now one of the richest people on earth. If the Russian people learned these facts, they would hang Putin in Moscow Square.

Let's pick our battles that serve us and the world the most, not ones with high cost and zero reward like Afghanistan.
