My heart you stole, my life you changed,
I never want to see you hurt or blamed,
Or even watch life cause you pain

I've never lived a perfect life, 
No not yesterday, and not even tonight,
But if I could keep you and hold you tight,
I'd make a promise to love you right

I love you more than the moon and stars,
And I need, right now, to be wherever you are
Together, we can share the love in my heart
More permanent than these skin deep scars

So if there ever comes a day,
When I'm not as crazy as I seem today,
Then please, just tell me, in every way,
That I have your heart until the end of days
