The sound of some sort of interference fills the audio log speaker, along with the wails of old metal panes breathing any creaking. What else can be heard is the muttering of multiple men and women, assumedly going about their daily pattern. There are sounds of pattering footsteps and clanking devises with unclear intended uses. The voice of an older man breaches the murmurs of the group.

"This is Dr. James Philip of Delta Station 295 speaking. Me and my team are just about to finish the preparations for E96's examination."

A younger woman, possibly in her late twenties, chuckles and chimes in, "You better be getting all this, Jim boy!" Another man in his mid twenties add in, "Yeah Jimbo! We don't want another E17, where you just *happened to-*"

Dr. Philip clears his throat loudly, making it crystal clear to the man that he's saying to much. "Anyways, S.E.A T. 45 is ready to conduct today's examination of E96. Today's date is-"

The audio log begins making bleeping sounds in the place of the date and time being stated in the recording. It's probably confidential information. After the formalities are sorted out, the team begin making their way through 'The Facility.'

As they march their way through hallways with beeping machines and grinding gears, they eventually reach a quiet place where only their footsteps can be heard. The young man from before quietly mutters, "This place'll always creep me out," as a series of buttons gets punched into what sounds like a phone, or a number pad of sorts.

The woman from before says, "Don't start whining again Anderson, we've been here a million times." The beeping finally stops, and a sound of large sliding doors fills the room. A new voice this time, a woman with a deeper voice says, "Got it," and S.E.A.T. 45 enters the 'Testing Site.'

As the large doors close behind them, hundreds of lights all snap to life, creating a path for them. "Pretty convenient they made this part easy on us with their track record..." The deep voice woman mutters to herself. She perks up and says, "Hey, you all remember E27? That job was hell!" Anderson shudders, "How could I forget? You and Sam had to save my ass back there! And you keep bringing it up!" Sam, the other woman says, "It was more thanks to Dee," and Philip silences the conversion.

"Were already here... Deanne, open the audio channel with E96." Dee, taken aback by the distance they traveled without knowing, silently sets up the laptop she's been carrying to open the audio channel. Sam looks around at the many glass cages around them and looks forward at the one marked E96. "That's funny... I don't remember it being that quick to get too..." She taps at the pistol on her hip as if to reassure herself of something. Anderson spins around himself and turns back to E96 and says, "Wait, did they move E96? I'm almost certain that's not where it was before..."

Dee gives a thumbs up and says, "Audio Channel open," but before she can finish her sentence, an earsplitting hypersonic cry comes through the cage, bringing the four of them to their knees. "Shut the damn thing off," Dr. Philip shouts, but Dee has dropped the laptop out of her reach. "I, I *can't*," Dee screams as she holds her head. Anderson follows suit, holding his head shouting out in pain on the floor. Sam, struggling to focus, pulls her gun and aims at the speaker on E96. She fires.
