Revelation 3:14-16
[14]And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
[15]I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
[16]So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Verse 14 tells us this letter is to the church of
Laodiceans
They are given credit for their faithfulness (notice it not for legalism it faithfulness that Christ gives credit to)
Verse 15 is a good straight forward verse
Let's read it carefully together
Revelation 3:15
[15]I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Hot =on fire for Christ for the relatively of living our beliefs
Cold = have nothing to do with Christ and be not pretenders
Now let's look at verse 16

Revelation 3:16
[16]So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Lukewarm = pretender put on a show. Go to church pay your tithes but does not have a relationship with Jesus
You notice what Christ says he will do to you
Spit you out of his mouth
Let's look at this.
Jesus speaks salvation and eternal life, Jesus has to confess you to the Father.
Spit out = he will not confess you to the Father
He will not speak you in to eternal life in heaven.
Well if you don't go to heaven then you will go to hell.
(going go off track a moment.
I personally don't think enough pastors are telling you that you may be going to hell. I am afraid not to.
This is your eternal soul it is your choice. But the bible is clearly saying without a relationship with Jesus you are going to hell)
