Sub Category : YoungAdult
I didn't want to go visit the new neighbors. Well it makes perfect sense why, my best friend lived there his entire life. Then he moves away and almost immediately, a new family moves in. But I just don't understand why Olivia didn't have to go also. It isn't fair. I will always hate whoever lives there. I promise.

"Your daughters deaf?!"
I yell. And instantly regret it. The two identical boys fall over laughing and the girl, Elizabeth, smirks at me.

'Wait.... Did she just...understand what I was saying by reading my lips? If so then why is she smirking at me?'

"Uh....Yeah...She is." One of the two boys whispers to the other and another convoy of giggles begins. I turn to see who spoke. It was the girl's dad.
"I-no-I didn't mea-I mean.... I didn't mean it in a bad way...I was just surprised.That's all."

'Jeez that guy looks scary. Better watch out for him'

He scoffs and rolls his eyes then turns to his wife who had just broken the awkward silence and began talking again. This time to my parents.
I take this opportunity to study Elizabeth, who seemed to have the same exact thought as I did because she turns and looks me up and down.

'She's pretty.....well, sorta.....a 5 maybe.'

We catch eye contact and I look away angerly, crossing my arms.

'So what? She can't hear. I don't like her because she lives here.'

I try to focus on the conversation the adults are having.
----------Setting change--------
I turn and stomp up the stairs.
"They changed the entire house! Like they don't even care!"
I burst into my room and lay down on my bed. My sister, olivia, walks in behind me.
"You know its actually kind of funny."
I roll over and glare at her.
"What?"
"You. When your at school. Your so...cool...while at home you have actual emotions. I just think its funny. Like two totally different people."
I groan then sit up leaning against the wall.
"I just let go a little more. What's wrong with that? And Liv. Please...what's the point of this conversation?"
She stares at me for a few seconds before answering.
"Oh yeah. You need to stop hating the neighbors. How were they supposed to know that Ross lived there?"
I stay silent.
"They aren't exactly. Now c'mon you have to get ready for school tomorrow."

' Crap that's right. School tomorrow and I haven't even finished my essay.'

"Ugh! Fine....but you can take a shower first. I've got homework to do."

(Whooo chapter 2! I got bored just like I said I would last chapter and decided to upload a second one. So......Continue to judge honestly.
