A friend in the neighborhood
Gives you an unexpected call.
You wonder what she has to say
And can’t wait to hear it all.

“Would you like to join in
With our Red Hat Society group?”
We have so much fun together
Doing things with our friendly troupe.

That would be just wonderful
I’ve seen you all around town
Looking so beautiful in your Red Hats
Always in smiles, never a frown.
