Steve and Max layed inside the temple sleeping through the night.Suddenly Steve wakes up from the sound of someone running outside."Hello,is anyone there?"Steve says grabbing his torch.Steve slowly walks over to the entrance of the temple to find out what ran across the grass.He walked outside scared.He saw a chicken standing motionless."Oh,it's you."Steve said."What are you doing out here in the jungle?"Steve asked.Suddenly the chicken ran in one direction away from...something.Steve was confused on what the chicken was running from.Suddenly a VERY loud roar that could be heard everywhere in the jungle was made.Steve started to freak out,he had NEVER heard ANYTHING like that in his life.Steve slowly walked back into the temple.The roar seemed to wake Max up and scare him pretty good.Steve grabbed all the torches and stored them in the chest and grabbed his iron sword.Steve looked at the old skeleton corpse holding the note.Steve then gasped to himself."The Slychiathan.It said that is would return."Steve said and worried even more than he already was.Steve heard a loud thump on tye ground,sounding like a dinosaur stomp.Steve slowly peeked outside and saw a foot at least 4 blocks long.He couldn't see the face of the monster even if he wanted to.Steve poked his head back into the temple.Another loud roar was heard,and it was definitely coming from that monster.It might be the Slychiathan,that thought was running through Steve's mind fast.The monster then bent down and peeked inside the temple.Max and Steve got really close to the wall so they won't be seen.The monster stayed like that for a minute until it growled and got back up.Steve then heard the monster walk off with it's loud stomps.It was growing morning now.Steve poked his head out,and he saw monsters running off to the caves except the zombies and skeletons that were there.There were 2 skeletons there that somehow weren't burning,they had no armor on or anything.They spotted Steve and stood there,motionless like they were having a staring contest with Steve.The skeletons eyes slanted like they felt suspicious of something,and then they ran off."Weird,they should have burned,it's day time,skeletons burn during day."Steve said in confusion.Max nodded in agreement.
At the Kingdom.
The 2 skeletons ran into the Kingdom to the king which was sitting in his throne."Sir,we went to the jungle temple,and there is someone there,what should we do about him?"One of the skeletons said.The Skeleton King chuckled."Later,we invade to take over the temple and their inventory."The Skeleton King said.He smiled a familiar smile to the smile from the mysterious smile from the previous book.
Back at the temple
Steve and Max started harvesting for food."I think that's enough to last us a month."Steve said.Steve and Max stored all the food into the temple and take a nap.
1 hour later
Steve wakes to a sound of soldiers marching."Steve,we know you're in there,surrender your base and your inventory,or die horribly,your choice Steve."Said the Skeleton King.Steve walked outside and saw millions of skeletons,again not burning,and a Skeleton with diamond armor at the front of them all holding a diamond sword with an iron armor wearing skeleton next to him.Steve's response is...."No."
