She said, "Tell me I am the only one you see in those beautiful eyes of yours. Tell me I can be the one that counts the stars with you every night. Tell me all the wonderful thoughts I have of us are not in vain. Just please don't tell me that your heart can never belong to me."

He replied, "I would love to join this dance so gladly and wear the ring of hope. But sadly, that would be a song played on broken strings.... smiling at you while wishing for her. The stars; they will see my runaway heart. You are worth a dream better than that."

People say Truth is a bitter pill to swallow for it leaves an awful taste. But sometimes, you are left with no choice but to choke it down and force it in.

the story is a little short but it does get a good point across out of all the short stories I've read so far I think yours has earned a five star rating

Thank you for your feedback, Tony Clements. Much appreciated. But just to make it clear, I wasn't writing a story of any length, no. I wrote it as a Blog - of a mere description of a situation and then concluded it with a conclusion of the said situstion.
