History fascinates me. It tells the story of lives before us, it sets memories that are centuries old. It can even create history in the making, History for me isn't just about something I've learnt; it's about what and who or where I originally came from, who I'm a decendant of and how they differ from me today.
 When I watch a documentary, programme or film that's era is before my time I'm lured into something outstanding. I'm memorized by what was and now is, how it's improved or changed over the years. 

History for me isn't just about facts from the past it's about seeing and getting to know a world more basic than what we are today. That alone I find fascinating. Why?... because although time brings a lot of changes some big some small; you begin to realise how easy we have it, how we take advantage of it and how we often abuse it. Where as back in those days things were scarce, tight and rough... what you had is what you gained. And as much as we gain things in life now, I personally don't think we treasured, held dearly or appreciated it as much as our ansistior/s did.
