i awoke early from my alarm clock. I turned it off groaning and opened my eyes rubbing them. I did a quick look around my room as always to calm my nerves. Of course there was nothing unusual with my nightstand, my dresser, my bookcase stuffed full of books and my desk with journals and my laptop closed and off. I smiled getting up and got dressed stretching and suddenly I got a text message. I frowned and picked it up. The texter was blocked but the message read. ‘Morning sweetheart’ I frowned looking around and out my window but nothing. My green eyes wandered to the page I had nailed to my wall. It was a creepy charcoal crude drawing of a man with no face with a suit and trees and a symbol of a circle with an ‘x’ through it. I frowned looking away and grabbed my bag and walked out. As I walked to school I found myself looking around constantly to see if anyone was following me but of course there was no one. When I met up with my friend he looked at me confused watching me look around. “What’s wrong Kiki?” he asked and I looked at him and sighed his blue eyes showing with concern. “Nothing Oliver...Just thought I saw something…” I muttered and continued walking. School was as normal. I was a good student and after all the classes I was found either drawing, reading or writing. I was trying to make up my own book and create characters and scenes to help me. As I walked home with Oliver I found myself calmer since I got no weird text messages at all throughout the day. When I got home I said goodbye to Oliver and entered my house. The door was unlocked as usual cause nothing really happens in the small little town of Shady Creek. But when I closed the door my phone buzzed. I frowned knowing I was home alone since my mom was at work and so was my dad so I checked my phone and froze. It was a blocked user. The blocked user from this morning. The text read ‘You have something that doesn’t belong to you. We took something from you. How does it feel?’ I frowned and shoved the phone in my pocket going to my room looking around and froze. The picture was gone and on the bed was the cut collar that belonged to my dog Rose. I growled pulling out my phone and texted the blocked user. ‘Who are you!? What do you want!?’ But got no answer from the texter. I guessed it was a guy and shivered. ‘How did he get my number and know where I live?...What does he want with me?’ I thought and shivered but locked myself in my room after grabbing a bag of chips with hummus a bottle of pepsi and a cup. I logged onto my computer and wrote all night.
