I had a productive day yesterday. This was without having a job, I still had one. I got my appointments done and I filled out my diploma mailer for my college degree. I had misfiled for my degree online in the first place, hence my having to re-file for it now. I even picked up some more clothes from my mother’s for living at my father’s. I know it doesn’t sound like much, and it’s certainly no job, but it’s something I got done I can feel good about.

Just ‘cause you don’t have a job doesn’t mean you can’t be productive. If you got shit done at all in your day, you’ve been productive. That counts as a positive about you in your day. You have concrete evidence you’re not useless.

I like that feeling.
