Her fur tensed, she growled at the approaching human. As he got closer, she caught a glimpse of his face. It was scarred and he had long scraggy hair. He spoke to her in a gravelly voice. “Move aside wolf, or I’ll have no choice, but to kill you” The wolf whimpered and sprinted away, her tail between her legs. “And that’s how I met him” Shelia said, grinning at me, I felt scared but grinned back, a big toothy grin. {A Year Later} I sprinted through the woods, the unconscious wolf on my back weighing me down. I burst through the barrier to camp, I skidded round the corner, scratching my feet on the gravel. I paused for a second, startled, I sprinted to my den. I skidded to a stop in my den. I lay the wolf down and put the remains of a deer next to him. I lay down, closed my eyes, and fell asleep. I was woken up by the wolf nudging me. “Where are we?” He asked. “My den” I murmured sleepily. “Oh, okay...” I got up and stared at him. “Come, Now” I said, a growl slid through my mouth. I lead him to the healers den. I said to the healer. “Check him out, but keep him here for the night” I glanced outside. “I need to do something” I finished. “Okay” The healer replied. I walked outside and into the woods, with no intention of going back soon.
