I never realized what love is
Until that night happened
It was a cold and rainy night, 
And I was stranded in a terminal
With a mysterious beautiful woman, 
A woman I think I've seen before.

My name is Rey, an assistant manager
At the famous mall in Legaspi
Ever since I was promoted then, 
I live here for many years now
Renting a house near my work place, 
Living by myself and faithful to my job

Tomorrow is my day off
And I decided to visit my hometown
But I was late for the last bus
Then I saw this beautiful woman
Depress, cold and alone, 
Waiting for the next bus to come.

It was already late at night
Still hoping for another bus to come
But nothing came, the terminal is closing
I care for this woman; it feels like I know her
I am thinking to go home
And leave tomorrow before dawn.

So I approach her, tell her that it's closing
She holds my hand tightly and stares at me
She never speak just looking at me
I hold her hands and we began to walk
When we get to my house, we're already wet
I never expect it will happened
I closed the door and suddenly, 
I feel her lips touching mine
I hesitate at first but she never stop
My heart keeps pumping so fast
Her left hand travel below my waist
Then the heats soon arise! 

The night turned insane as the heat goes on
I became the prisoner of her flesh, 
A victim of her untamed beauty
I don't know who she is, where she's from
But my mind keeps telling me
We already meet long time ago

The morning comes, I woke up
She's gone by my side, leaving without a trace
I never go home that day, keep thinking of her
So I go to the terminal, search for her
Then wait for her until midnight
But she's not there, she never come.
Days have passed and nothing happened

I went back to my own life
Still keep searching and waiting for her
Until I open my high school yearbook, 
I found her, her name is Cara
She's my classmate back then.

On my day off I visit my hometown
Hoping to meet her again
I failed; she's no longer live there
Her neighbor gave me her new address, 
She now live in Virac, Catanduanes
So I decided to use my vacation leave.

When I was in high school 
I was famous throughout the campus 
I am the number one matinee idol, 
A talented one and struggling to be on top 
My fellow students adore me, 
I am always a teacher's pet. 

I will never forget, some has a crush on me 
Throughout high school, I never knew her 
She always writes me a letter everyday 
And left it on my armchair each morning 
I tried to catch her for many times, 
But I ended up getting embarrassed. 

So I always keep on a box, a special box I made 
Since the day I graduate and study college, 
I never open it or read each letters, I am too busy. 

As I go to Catanduanes, I brought it 
Hoping she'll remember each letter she wrote 
I knew she's my secret admirer, I can feel it. 
I still remember, she's always my seatmate in high school 
She is my greatest competitor, my enemy 
In our class and throughout the campus 
We always have a clash each discussion 
Sometimes, she bullies me, challenge me 
That's why I never thought she's the one. 

Love is not my priority back then 
I am struggling eldest of the family 
Student by day, working by night 
My parent's a rice farmer and has a low income 
That's why I never thought of love or fall in love. 

The day I finally know everything 
Is the day suddenly my world fall apart 
She really is my secret admirer 
She always writes me a letter back then 
Come early in the morning at school, 
Hiding and looking at distance far 
She always pretends she hates me 
For she's afraid the feelings might change 
She never wants to be like her parents, 
She never wants a broken family like her 
After her mother got married, she decides 
To live with her father in Catanduanes with her stepmom 
She wants to move on and forget me 
She loved someone but soon realize 
That all these time, her heart is still the same 
The day before her wedding, she left 
Went to Legaspi to find an answer 
In the end she found herself. 

With the help of my friends in college, 
We meet without her husband's knowledge 
We meet at the city's famous restaurant 
She kept the box, crying telling me the truth 
Before she leaves, she left me with a letter; 

"Find someone you deserve to love, forget me." 

It is five in the morning in my watch, 
Sitting at the rock near the sea at Embarcadero Legaspi 
Watching the sun to rise, keep thinking of her 
I am still drunk, still depress and hopeless 
Now I realize, I have everything in my life 
But I am not happy, I must find love.
