     Her mother was just like her. An inbreed. But she didn't know until that day.


    "Monster! Freak! Animal!!" Gemm woke up in a frenzied sweat. Her hair black as the night sky clung to her forehead and neck. Breathing heavily she arose to a sitting position on her bed. "Still an hour till school." Gemm groaned she had been on and off as far as sleep for 3 days. The same nightmare. She's in front of the class. Suddenly what felt like razor blades peel down her back. Her class runs and hides in the classroom shouting. "Freak. Animal. Monster." Then she wakes up in a cold and frenzied sweat. Unable to fall back asleep.


      She wasn't even going to try to sleep. As she'd done for the last 3 day's she got up and started getting ready. She was in the kitchen. Fully dressed and ready. Her father cane down "Good morning sweets." He said. "Good morning Father." Gemm replied. As she looks at the clock. 7:20 am. She grabs her bag and starts for the bus.
