The slow rhythm of the rain outside is a match to her own turmoil inside. Sitting alone in her room staring out the window, watching the steady drops of rain against her window pane, she can't help feeling lost. She tries to understand what is happening to her. She is not sure what she feels anymore. How can she be happy and sad at the same time? Is she losing it?

She will never tell a soul how she really feels. She can't. She doesn't feel anyone will understand. She will just remain quiet and keep it all to herself. She has lost so much, gained so little it's unbelievable. Maybe she will never be good enough. Maybe she is doomed. Maybe the weather is messing with her head. Maybe.

Tomorrow, when the sun is shining, she will once again put on her mask. She will laugh. She will smile. She will act all tough and pretend like everything is fine. But she knows the truth. She knows she is putting on a show. Behind her fake smile, there is a sadness that is kept hidden. Sometimes, she wish she can erase the feels. But she can't. And so, she will feel the feels. And when she feels, she knows that all she's going to feel is pain.
