I was walking down the street one day
when I stumbled on a guy from the opposite way.
I looked in his direction, 
he was checking me out 
I waited for his reaction to see what he's all about.

As he got closer I noticed his face
he had beautiful brown eyes,
with a deep penetrating gaze.
I plucked my courage and walked up to him,
I said, "Hey, I know you, you're the guy in my dream."

He winked his eye and smiled sexily at me
he said, "Hi, nice to meet you, my name is Nicky."
We shook hands and he looked me in the eye
he said, "Would you care to take a little walk with me?"
I looked into those eyes and I was mesmerized
I said, "Sure, you seem like a nice guy, I'd love to walk with you and keep you company."

We walked awkwardly at first
extremely careful with our words,
but as soon as the ice was broken,
everything poured out, 
nothing was left unspoken.

We've been walking together for over a decade now,
sharing love and laughter along the way.
How we did it, I do not know how,
all I know is I'm enjoying each day.

Where we're headed I have no clue,
but it's fun and exciting, I can't pretend,
you take the lead, I'll be right beside you,
together, we'll make the journey right to the end.
