Chapter 1~
     The White Lie

It was nearly the beginning of winter, dark clouds forming, holding bunches of snow and waiting to be realeased. Yet not a single flake came down. A sigh of disappointment filled the empty office space, Katlyn turned her head back, only to see a young mans eyes boring into hers.

He twirled his pencil and cried out, "No snow, the weather man has failed me!" He closed his fist and stared off.

Darmatic much? She thought and moved her long silk hair back, turning away as she responded "Well Tom, the weather man did say it was a 50/50 chance."

Tom shifted his gaze back to Katlyn, a smirk painted acrossed his face. He stood up from his chair and bounded towards the water cooler. As the water sloshed into the paper cup, he stared out the window, looking off, "Well, Katlyn if thats true, the weather man must be a mind reader..Or should I say a weather reader." he gave off a small chuckle.

Katlyn lifted her brow, "What in heavens sake you going on about?" she asked, lifting herself from her office chair.

Tom motioned his head to the window nearest to them. Katlyn went towards it, seeing small white flakes falling, Melting almost instantly as they hit the windows.

"Kat, do you remember the good times?" he asked, his foucus still glued to the outside.

She bit her lip gently, not responding instantly made Tom revert his gaze back to her.

She looked up at him, seeing the lust in his eyes, she whispers out, "Yes, of course I do." her voice echoced through out the room, her white lie travling down.
