#592 TO THE RESTAURANT Read Count : 125

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
The closing of car doors
Makes a happy sound.
As we’ve gathered together
To share a ride around.

We’ve made a reservation
At a new restaurant to try.
Oh, do they get excited
When our group comes by.

We sure do dress up the place
With our fancy red and purple attire.
We all get settled in our seats and
Our orders are taken in rapid fire.

Among all the talking, joking
And our laughing noise
We notice the other diners
Are now facing us poised.

Everyone wishes they were
Sitting and eating among us
And enjoying all our laughter
And partaking of all the fuss.
