Thanks for being there for me
A friend who is so true.
Who finds the time to spend
With me in things to do.

Thanks for all your smiles
That cheer me up at sight
And make me feel so special
Any time of day or night.

Thanks for coping, although
I’m not myself at times.
And life is so disorganized
Certainly not ringing any chimes.

But the bells I may be hearing
May be coming from the door
Or the telephone call you’ve made
That cheers me up for sure.
