As the Trump-Russian investigations  slowly get re-started, it is clear from the comments coming from Republican committee chairmen today that politics, not uncovering the truth, is their underlying driving force.

This matter, perhaps the most serious challenge to our democracy since Watergate, must be investigated by an appointed non-partisan council.

History will judge this Congress and us, their constituents, on how this process proceeds. It is time for each of us to contact our representatives and demand that they set the independent process in motion. What has happened so far is nothing less than a disgrace. SAD!
