Tell me not of versed lines. Tell me not of undying beauty. Save those for nursery rhymes. Capture the essence of my soul. With naked unabashed, Bold, full truth. Regale me with ancient lover’s tales, Of hearts vexed, souls intertwined. Enchant me with stories of two blending into one, When hearts beat in unison. A rhythm frozen by father time. A moment inspired by more than duty. Driven by uncaged wanton desire. Tell me not of overly worn songs. For they can never ignite passions of love. This our history.... Speak not of well-versed line. Tell of desire one touch can inspire. For history remembers the bold, Not the unchanging. Copyright © 2015 Dell Anne Raye All Rights Reserved
