Further Thoughts On Trump

I don't agree with Trump's pushing back the deadline of abortion. It's now set at 20 weeks of gestation rather than three months. Science has proven that's not accurate to when pain nerve endings even set in, but he went with that anyway. I don't want to ever make such bad decisions that I end up pregnant rather than planning it, but condoms sometimes break. That's not bad decision-making then; that's bad circumstances. I'll take a morning after pill if I have to, but I'd rather not have to. Oh, and he wants to constrict women's access to birth control. I have news for him: if we're not responsible for birth control, a lot of men won't be. Enough of them think it's the woman's role to make sure of it since she's the one who could get pregnant. They don't think it's their responsibility. I don't admire or respect such men, but I don't think it's all on them either. I think it's up to both sexes. Men, in terms of their sex lives at least, very much like our having all the birth control that we need and then some if necessary. If we didn't have all the birth control we have, there'd be a lot more unplanned babies. Oh, and if he's so pro-life, he should know that it is in the best interest of every baby to plan the pregnancy so that that child can have a good life and not end up with parents that resent him or her and might mistreat him or her because of that resentment.
