Ya know I hate the mindet that you have to spend x amount of time for the friendship to be real or last, so not true .. I'll tell you a lil story about time : 

I was 13 when I had my first experience with love .. it was spring break in 2007 I was sitting on my porch withy sister and some friends and I had a neighbor across the street who I knew a little bit and he happend to be sitting outside with some guys too, now me and my sister of course are checking the guys out, they are obviously not from around here so I got my friend Keith to go across the street and tell the guys we wanted to hang out .. so we went and met this guy named Kyle, he was so cute but he was 16 so I lied and told him I was 14 , anyway he was in beacon visiting family for spring break but it was the last weekend of break so we had two days .. we hit it off instantly, he was my first kiss , we spent every second together, texted all the time on our flip phones, I snuck out my house to hang out thru the night .. we talked for hours about everything and he was the sweetest guy I ever met , that was it .. I was in love , then he had to go back home and we said goodbye but we still spoke on the phone 24/7 , I was banned from talking to him because my grandmother found out how old he was but I don't care , I went out to Brooklyn with family and snuck off to see him , got in all types of trouble , I didn't care he was my soul mate.. eventually we lost touch... For ten years I didn't hear from him, no social media nothing ... Just gone although I still thought of him often .. one day I decided to try looking him up and found him on Facebook about a 2 years ago .. we got back in touch and that's when I found out he had married and moved out of state and now has a beautiful happy family .. but he did tell me that he thought of me and tried to find me before be got married but I never answered.. sure enough I check one of my old social network and his message is sitting there from about a year before he got married.. we still speak, have a great friendship and occasionally get together I'm nothing but happy for him .
