*part 7 of "Reina Leona" story*

She found out that Barbie has been flaunting herself in front of him again. Batting her eyes, acting all cutesy and innocent, flooding her Instagram page with endless pictures of herself in various poses and captioning them with cryptic messages for him. She also found out that Barbie went to the party he had hosted on New Year's Eve. 

"I bet she made a play on him that night," she thought to herself. 

But did he fall for her act again this time? The girl whom he said had not only sabotaged his career but his life as well? The girl who had tried to change him into the man she wants to be with? The girl who had taken his heart, played with it to her heart's content, then stomped on it with her 5 inch stilleto? The girl who had belittled him, looked down on him and made him feel small? The girl who had used him because she felt she can and then when she has no more use for him, tossed him aside and discarded him like a piece of garbage? Did he fall for that same girl again, her same web of lies, her same bag of tricks? 

For his sake, she hopes not.

away from your clouded eyes 
I stand in the shadows, watching....

I can almost catch the scent of your body,

Tear your eyes away from that shallow creature....
she loves you not for who you are but only your reflection,
she cares not for the feelings you hold inside you,
she cares not for your troubles, she cares not about you.
Look around and maybe you'll see how close I am to you,
I can almost see the white wings on your back,
I can almost hear the steady beating of your heart
..... almost.
I'm so close yet so far away,
look away and maybe you'll see,
the one in the shadows waiting for you,
the one whose love is eternal,
the one who is willing to die for you,
a familiar stranger in the shadows.... Me."
