You were sitting on the small front porch of your home when an urgent letter arrived for you. It was from the Phantomhive estate. Quickly ripping into it, you noticed the letter was from Sebastian. The letter read as follows:

       Dearest companion,

I am dreadfully sorry for the lack of notice, however, I am in dire need of your assistance today. The young master has planned for a rather large get together for the investors of his company without my knowledge. I am one hell of a butler, but this is simply too much to do on my own. I do hope you will be able to help me today, I trust no one more fully with this task.

                                                                         Sincerely,
                                                                      Sebastian Michaelis

“Well, that was certainly nice of Ciel to do.” You sighed and placed the letter in your dress pocket. “Better go.” You stood from your chair and quickly made your way to the Phantomhive estate. Upon arrival, you found Sebastian in a rather stressed state, though he was doing a wonderful job of hiding it. “You needed me?”

Sebastian quickly turned from the stove, rushing to you with a wide smile on his face and took your hands into his. “Indeed, I am eternally grateful for your help today.” You could tell, for once that the smile he gave you was genuine. “I'm sorry it's such short notice, but I found out only just this morning. It seems the young master and I had a bit of a communication problem.”

“It's no problem. Just tell me what you need me to do and I'll do it.” You quickly pulled your hair back, ready to work.

“I have Finnian working outside, Mey-Rin setting the tables, and Baldroy making sure she doesn't break anything. So what I really need help with is the food preparation. I hope you don't mind. It gets rather stuffy in here when I cook for large groups.” Sebastian moved back over  to the stove and grabbed a list. “These are the dishes we will be serving today.”

“Wow, no wonder you asked for help. That's more food than I eat in a year.” You rolled up your sleeves and began work.

“Indeed, there is to be quite a large crowd here tonight. I do hope those idiots can behave themselves for one night.” Sebastian let out a loud sigh and joined you in work. The two of you worked for hours on end, only snacking on the food Sebastian deemed unworthy for the guests. Despite the high tension, and short amount of time in which you had to work, Sebastian was more than happy to carry on a conversation with you. This helped you not notice how much your feet ached, and your stomach was growling. You finally finished, and with not even a moment to spare. “I believe our guests have arrived, and right on time.” Sebastian began taking the food to the guests as you began clean up of the kitchen. After what seemed like a very long night, the guests left, and Sebastian returned. “Thank you, you were more help than you can imagine.”

“You're very welcome. I'm glad I was able to help you out.” You gave him a weak tired smile. “I'd be more than happy to help you again if you ever needed it. Hopefully, next time Ciel does something like this, he gives you a bit more notice.”

“Hopefully indeed, but if not, I hope you will be there to help me once again. Now come.” Sebastian raised your hands from the cold dishwater and dried them off. “You've done quite enough for one day.” He lifted you off of your sore feet into his strong arms and began to carry you from the kitchen.” Allow me to escort you home.”

You chuckled a bit. “That would be lovely.” A slight blush crept over your face as you snuggled yourself into his chest.

“I must say, you are quite possibly, the most competent, helpful person I've ever known. Besides Tanaka of course.” He smiled down at you as he sat you down inside the carriage. “You truly do give me a little hope for humanity.” Sebastian sat down beside you and brushed your cheek with the back of his hand. “If only there were more people like you, and Tanaka.” He paused, then smiled. “I would have much fewer broken dishes.”

You elbowed him in the ribs. “I was expecting something deep.” You laughed in a tired, yet obviously amused way that caused your entire face to light up. “And what do I get? A comment on broken dishes.”

Sebastian rubbed his side as if you had hurt him. “That was a compliment, you know. I was simply stating that you are one hell of a companion, and I don't wish to lose you.” Seemingly without reason, he moved in so close to you, your noses were almost touching.

Taken by complete surprise, your eyes widened and your cheeks began to feel warm. “S-Sebastian, what are you doing exactly?” You pulled back slightly.

Without giving you an answer, he smiled mischievously, leaned over you and jerked open the carriage door. At this point, there were few places where your bodies weren't touching. “I apologize. I was only trying to open the door." Pulling himself away from your body, he looked into your eyes, smiling down at you with his own. "You're home.
