What we do is who we are. Who we are is what we do. And what we do and who we are, ultimately, shapes who we become. So exactly who are you? If you visit a primary school and ask a 10 years old who does he want to be, he will answer immediately. It may be Doctor or Teacher. But visit a University and ask a 20 years old who he is, chances are that he will give you an indefinite answer. All of us have dreams, we know who we want to become. But do we know exactly who we are at present?
I want you to define yourself in five words. The words can be connected in a sentence or could be random. Any five words that you think define your personality. It does not matter whether others agree with you or not. These five words would be your image.

Now draw a large Pentagon and at each point of it, write a word. Now, this Pentagon is your personality. Inside the Pentagon, I want you to draw a circle and inside the circle, you will write down the things or persons you want to become.
Let us suppose that you wrote ‘ Writer ‘ inside the Circle and at one point of your Pentagon, ‘ Creative ‘ is written. Both of these syllables coincide with each other. Now you know that something of who you want to become is already in you. That is a good thing.
Now I want you to make a list with the help of these shapes. In the list, you will write down everything that your Circle needs but is not in your Pentagon. For Example, you know perfectly well that in order to become a writer, you have to read a lot. But you are not an avid reader. Write down ‘ Reading ‘ on the list. Once you have completed the list. Write down a deadline besides it. Think about it for a day or so before deciding the deadline. You must decide a realistic deadline. You have got to live in your dreams so do not make them too hard.
So now you know who you are and what you have to do in order to become who you want to be.
If you follow your heart and the deadline, I am sure the success shall follow you soon.
