“Open minded readers”

I have been asked lots 

Why I don’t smile ?

My facial expression never change On all my social sites profile photo.

So I reply poetically 

Title   " no smile "

On bending  knees 

Tears flowed from my eyes 

To be honest 

I have to cry 

And ask myself 

Why smile? 

For every innocent child that dies 
Brutally , wrongfully by the hands of murderers, molesters  and casualties of war 

Why smile? 

For the struggles of life that we face 
Day to day

Why smile ? 

For the ignorance and hatred people have towards each other of all Races and classes and places 

Why smile?

Everyday I watch the news there is another senseless  murder 

Why smile ? 

Everywhere on this earth there is mass destruction, poverty , wars and hunger 

Why smile ?

For the current situation with this pointless war over another countries natural resources and the suppression physically, mentally and otherwise.

Why smile ?

For the current slave trade that going on in 
Libya  this very day 

Why smile? 

For every time when i access social media sites it’s all about another fight , another struggle , another war, another pointless air strike and another hustle 
Another person videos another friend another brother or sister getting beated down by bullies 

Why smile ?

For the corrupt government system 
And for the misleading of the people by the heads of state

Why smile ? 

On bender knees 

Tears flow from my eyes 

And I say when 

When will this madness end 

When will this race war end 
And we as a people 
Live in love and unity again.

When will the murders and the fighting end 

When will some people stop treating themselves like garbage and making beautiful example for the future generations to follow ?

Why are some people so obvious  to what’s going on in society.

When will this madness end ? 

Until then I refuse to smile
