An Endless Sky Read Count : 145

Through my window, I can see
An endless sky in front of me.
A melancholy of grey so vast,
Despondent to the very last.
A field of only cloudless land,
Tied around by a yellow strand
By specks of black flying around,
Occasionally resting on the pale green ground.
A place must exist away from here,
Where the grey cannot go near;
It must be all hues of blue,
Euphoria glowing around you.
Clouds there play hide and seek,
Beautiful colours through every creek.
Such a clime is all I seek,
Where even gloom couldn't be meek.
And though an endless sky's in front of me,
The melancholy is all I see.
