Why you make it so hard
When it can be all so easy
I like it that you love me
But you do not need me

It feeds me
 although it makes me uneasy
I can feel the love slippin
Cause you don't ever believe me

Every night I have to fight
For your love and it's crazy
You definitely have my heart
No ifs, buts or maybes

I'm just saying you my baby
You gone be my first lady
Maybe have my babies
You stop acting so crazy

I'm trying to show you amazing
On every occasion
Every morning awaking
Sight of day breathtaking

Upon return of night
I'll be your beacon of light
I'm trying to win this war
