Winds blew the trees’ leaves as the birds were chirping in harmony across the seaside of the orphanage in Norilla. Well, a few orphans were working their daily duties, ordered by the Ho’Min head of the orphanage, Madame Jacinda. A Ho’Min, a race with no magic or a Gem, were most of her of what she thought. There were many Ho’Mins in the orphanage as opposed to a one twelve-year-old Vir’Tori, who was working outside, Avalon Phythorn, who has a Gem, an Emerald, a Plant Magic, and Pheromone Magic (mind controlling). No one knew that she was a Vir’Tori. Even being an Anedion, the most powerful Vir’Tori, who protects the Gems, in all of the land of Nocrealis. But she didn’t even dare to spill her beans about her ego or even her last name.
The twelve-year-old redhead was watering the plants at the garden. Avalon felt the sun shone above her cranberry crimson silky hair, which was dancing, along with the music of the breeze. While her emerald green eyes were staring at the elegant-looking flowers, as she smiled, hearing the other children’s chatter from the orphanage.
“If I were you, I would escape from this terrible orphanage, and use my powers to save ourselves.” A male voice appeared behind her, as she felt a green dust behind her right shoulder blade. A slight annoyance overcome to her eyebrows, making them furrowed.
“Or if I were you, I would zip my mouth while taking care of our dear fellow flowers here, Agrokai.” She responded annoyingly after she spun her head, looking at her Nevma, a demon or angel being of hers. Then he returned an irked looked to her, though he was wearing a deer skull mask.
Suddenly, Avalon saw a boy in the kitchen by the window, and he was stealing porridge from the table! When he turned his head to her direction to get some napkins, she quickly recognized his face. Well, his face said it all.                                                                   Brutus, who always bullied the other orphans, including Avalon, was robbing again the porridge. She shook her head in her annoyance. Then she quickly dashed to one of the bushes to keep herself from being caught by him. Afterwards, she waited in a few minutes until she heard some footsteps towards upstairs.

"Maybe he already went to his room." She thought to herself.

Then, she got back to her work when she heard a plethora of footsteps on the grass towards her direction. She decided not to turn her head to ignore it. Well, the sound of the footsteps were gone, however—

“It’s the red haired girl! I swear I saw her little hand lay on the bowl of porridge before snatching it!” He really ruined Avalon’s peaceful time, after hearing a vexing voice from her bottom right. Then, she turned her head in front of them.
Really, me, of all people, seriously.

She tried not to roll her eyes in front of Madame Jacinda, who was actually beside him. She swore she wanted to be swallowed by the soil beneath her to end her suffering. Because he accused her again, of all people! She was thinking that he saw her sprinting towards the bushes, maybe. There was a burning ire in her chest, which it would be never extinguished. So she never lost her strong grip to the watering can.

“I’m telling you, she is the one who stole the porridge a while ago!” Then that was the first ingredient for the boiling blood inside her body.

“I saw her this morning in the kitchen, stealing the delicious porridge!” Brutus even demonstrated how he really tasted the porridge. Also that was her line, then it was enough for her to have a face like a thunder, yet but she didn’t want to add a storm in her teacup.

I just want to slit your throat.
“I told you, that you despise here.” telepathically whispered Agrokai.
“Because of Brutus, and not the orphanage.” replied Avalon to him. Agrokai sighed then disappeared from her mind. Avalon thought what to say to keep from being scolded again.

“W-was that your only proof?” Avalon asked unnoticeably stutteringly with the smirk, putting her hand to the cotton fabric on her waist. Then she turned her head to Madame Jacinda’s direction.

“Madame, I saw Brutus in the kitchen by looking through the window while I was gardening there.” She said while pointing to the area where she spied on Brutus earlier.

“Besides, I know your eyes of wisdom had been staring at me for the whole time. And please, trust me, Madame.” She batted her eyelashes to the old woman, as she clashed her hands together before clinging. When she said those words, she was reminded about her mind controlling abilities, the Pheromone Magic, about the times she tried to control her but failed in either way. She hoped that she will succeed, and she thought about something that every cloud has a silver lining.                                                                   Unbeknownst to Avalon, the head of the orphanage was under control by her.

“You’re in trouble, young lad.” Madame Jacinda whispered but Avalon could hear her enough. Brutus turned his head to the old woman’s eyes with anxiety and confusion, breathing nervously.

“It is immensely wrong to blame her, who didn’t do something to disobey my rules.” She muttered, furrowing her eyebrows.

“She is even wiser than you, you accusing her who was only through the window,” she chuckled, as she shook her head. “And as a result, I will punish you for having dishonesty on your side, and for accusing someone, who is innocent." Madame Jacinda declared as she crossed her arms.

"Now, go inside, Brutus. To your room, and you will not have your lunch today and wash the dishes." She said as she gazed the boy while gripping his arm to prevent him from staying out from her grasp. She was about to turn an opposite direction, when she turned her head to Avalon.

"And you, Avalon, continue your work, and I will see you later lunch at twelve. Sharp." The old woman raised her eyebrows if Avalon would follow her orders.
Then, she replied, "Yes, Madame. I will obey your command." Avalon bowed down clumsily, as she was gripping the watering can in front of her thighs, after snapping out of her thoughts. As a response, the head of the orphanage nodded, while Brutus' head bowed to the ground, due to his guilt.

I can't believe it!

She just controlled the woman whom she tried to control to get out from that irking boy's accusation at her but ended in a bad effect. She just controlled the woman who had raised her to do her the daily duties and having a strict discipline. She just controlled the woman who forbade her to eat three apple pies!

"I can't believe it! I can't believe it! I can't believe it!" She shouted softly enough to keep everyone from hearing her joyous voice, as she jumped and jumped happily. She covered her mouth with her right hand, as her left hand was still holding the watering can, and as the water spilled to her green dress, but she didn't even care because of what happened.                                                                    “I’m so proud of my little hostess.” Agrokai whispered after being impressed to her accomplishment.

Afterwards, Avalon stopped celebrating to continue her work, thinking that the head of the orphanage might be staring at her.

Later night, pure black sky with glowing blue aura surrounded the moon, as its light shone upon the redhead's hair, as the stars were twinkling behind her. Meanwhile, Avalon was staring at her little sister in slumber on the cradle, putting her chin on her arms.

Then, a green mist flew from her pocket and formed into a green man, whose hair was flawless fuchsia locks. His eyes were green cat-like orbs, and still wearing his deer skull mask, as he floated beside Avalon, whose eyes were still petrified, staring at the little munchkin.

"Isn't she precious, Agrokai? I think that was the reason why Mother and Father gave her a name called Jewel." Avalon whispered enough to not wake up her sister. Jewel was truly a treasure to Avalon, even wanted to sacrifice her life, exchange for her sister's life.

"Of course, she is even worthier than diamonds, gold, and even other Gems, my hostess." He giggled, then after a moment longer, Agrokai looked worried when Avalon was still staring at the little tyke.

"Ava, are you jogging your memory again?" the glowing man asked with worry, "No, I'm not. I just can't believe I just accomplished how to control with my pheromone magic." Avalon said as she caressing her sister's cheek.

"Well, you had a long day, dear. You must sleep tonight." Agrokai spoke to her, as he guided her to bed before lying,

"Good night, Ava." He said. Avalon replied, "Good night, Agrokai." Then, the green Nevma turned into a mist and flew to his hostess' pocket, as Avalon's eyelids were getting heavier and heavier until her vision was getting blurry. Then, darkness swallowed her sight.

Meanwhile in a chateau in Proserin, a woman woke up at the middle of the night, apparently snapping out of her dreams. Then, someone entered to her chambers, rushing to her aid, "Mother, I felt that you woke up! What's the matter?" he shouted softly with worry. The woman snapped out of her thoughts then turned her head towards the young man.

"I have to find the Anedion and her sister!" she shouted, breathing heavily.
