Seeing the stone shimmer under the water it felt peaceful for a second. But that did not last long. A gun shot rang and the peace faded I was running again blood ran cold down my cheek. My friends were yelling and screaming in fear I had to do it. I clenched my fist and jumped I felt the wind carry me. With my friends far ahead and me being up out of sight the men stopped chasing and we were safe for now.
