I'm leaving this place far from your gravitational field All my bones have been replaced What sound do they make when they break? The helmet conceals my face No way to tell if I'm awake or dreaming Singing screaming The phases of the moon The Martian dunes Tell them I'll be home soon "Complications with the satellites Would you like to try again?" Passing meteors ricochet off my bottle, that cradles my final words to you like a model ship on a mantel, carried across oceans of space and time The cracks slowly slither with each strike like a Hydra sprouting heads from its severed scales It'll never reach you before the end of this All you have to know is "I will be back" ...I just don't know when
