Even in death
you shone brighter than 1,000 suns
Everything you kept inside
Every secret
Every lie
All the Dark
All the light 

Detonated 
Resonated

and your dazzling carcass
spilled its watercolor entrails
across the emptiness of myself
and for a brief moment
I was blinded by you

I was blind to you

You were beautiful
and still
even in death
I'll gaze 
upon your shimmering lights
from your resurrected corpse

and smile
