(Chapter three: "Tension")

    When Supergirl and Superman arrived to the meeting all the heros were there waiting.  They all looked quiet and it was silence that made Superman annoyed.

    "What is it?" Superman asked the members.

    "Cyborg detected a powerful entity on the map and pinpointed it down town at the memorial." Wonder Woman replied in a low and worried tone.

    Superman leaned close to Cyborgs' map and stood in thought at what it could possibly be.

    "Was anyone near the memorial on their way here is there any damage?" Superman gazed at the Justice League looking for a response.  From the doorway an unfamiliar voice responded.  It was deep.

    "Oh we were nobody got hurt."

    The League spun around to see a half human half cyborg man standing with his arms crossed.  Beside him was another man and a woman.  The man wore sunglasses and both him and the lady were dressed like a military organization.

    Cyborg stepped forward.

    "Who are you and what's your purpose?!" He demanded. 

    The strange man gave a cocky motion with his head and stepped closer slowly.

    "My name is Kano this is Johnny Cage and Major Sonya Blade.  Our leader wants an audience with yours."  Kano gave a serious look.
  Superman raised his hand.

    "That would be me.  What do you want?"

    "That's for you to find out." Kano walked out of the building with his allies and the Justice League decided to follow together.  When they got outside everybody stood ready for offense.  Standing in the court yard was the entire squad of those warriors which the League dealt with years ago.  In front stood a man in white.  His large pointed hat sparked Supermans' memory and immediately he clenched his fist.  It was Lord Raiden standing cross-armed staring at Supergirl and Superman.
    Aquaman rushed out in between the groups with his hands out shouting noticing a few hundred civilians watching including children.

    "No no no! This is NOT going to happen we are not going into war! Everyone just calm down!" Aquaman stared at Superman who ignored him.

    "Stand down, please...if they were a threat they would have destroyed shit already.  Superman stand down." Aquaman rested his hand cautiously on Clarks' chest.
    Raiden began to speak nodding his head and walking slowly back and forth.

    "Allow me to bring bad news....we didn't come here to fight we were chased here.  There is a god with a massive army too many in number for us to take ourselves.  An army of undead people."  Raiden Stared into Supermans' eyes.

    Superman released his clenched fists and frowned.

    "What god? There is nobody we can't handle.  What did you see?" Clark stepped out closer to Raiden with Wonder Woman at his side.

    A different warrior came forward dressed in gold armor.  He had a chain wrapped around his wrist and his eyes were white.  He removed his facemask and glanced at Batman.

    "Pardon me I'll take it from here...my name is Scorpion.  The man we were chased by is known as Koban Rehn.  He's the lord of death in our world master of every technique he sets his eyes upon.  He can copy your skill and power.  We lost a couple of our own to him...Ermac, Triborg, Kenshi.  We wish to align ourselves with people like you.  He is headed for this world and that's why we came here to be a step ahead of his game."  Scorpion scanned the heros up and down.

    Batman stepped forward alongside Superman and looked at Scorpion.

    "You attacked us and now you want to be allies? How can we trust you have our backs?"

    "Because we're true to our word." Johnny Cage stepped forward.

    Superman looked back at the League who relaxed.  They had an accord and if they could all get along and learn about each other they could possibly pull it off.  A god of death with a living dead army didn't frighten Superman what concerned him is that Raiden even fled here with his people and Raiden was just as strong as he was if not stronger.
